At The Offices at Lux & Co, we strive to provide exceptional service and transparency for every client. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how payments, refunds, and cancellations are handled for all services we offer, including mailbox and business address services, registered agent services, notary signing services, conference room rentals, and office memberships.
By purchasing or subscribing to any of our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy
All payments made to The Offices at Lux & Co are considered final unless otherwise stated in this policy. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused services or partial months once a billing cycle has begun.
2. Mailbox & Business Address Services

Mailbox plans are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Service cancellations require 30 days’ written notice prior to your next billing date.

Refunds are not issued for unused time, partial months, or missed cancellations.

Setup and administrative fees (such as the $25 setup fee) are non-refundable.

If service is terminated due to non-payment or policy violation, no refund will be provided.
3. Registered Agent Services

Registered Agent fees are non-refundable once service has been activated or your business has been registered using our address.

You may cancel your service by submitting 30 days’ written notice.

It is your responsibility to update your registered agent information with the Virginia State Corporation Commission upon cancellation.
4. Conference Room Rental
-
Conference room bookings must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to receive a credit or refund.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be eligible for a refund.

If you fail to show up for a reserved time, the full amount will be charged.

Credits or refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
5. Notary Signing Services

Notary fees are non-refundable once a signing or notarization is completed.
-
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

If you arrive late or without valid ID, and the appointment cannot proceed, the fee is still due in full.
6. Private Office & Dedicated Desk Memberships

Rent for private offices and dedicated desks is billed monthly and due on the 1st of each month.

A $25 late fee applies for payments received after the 5th.
-
Membership cancellations require 30 days’ written notice.
-
No refunds will be issued for rent, deposits, or partial months after occupancy has begun.

Deposits may be withheld in part or full if the office is not returned in original condition.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund.
8. Non-Refundable Fees
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

Account setup fees

Returned payment fees

Late payment fees

Key replacement or access card fees
-
Add-on and administrative charges
9. Termination by The Offices at Lux & Co
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without refund if a client:

Violates our Terms of Service

Uses services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

Fails to make timely payments
-
Engages in conduct that disrupts other tenants or clients
