Welcome to The Offices at Lux & Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and all services provided by The Offices at Lux & Co, including but not limited to mailbox and business address services, registered agent services, notary signing services, conference room rentals, and workspace memberships (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

1. Use of Our Services

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By enrolling in or booking with The Offices at Lux & Co, you confirm that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.

You agree to use our Services for lawful business purposes only and in compliance with all applicable laws, USPS regulations, and professional standards.

2. Mailbox & Business Address Services

Clients who subscribe to our mailbox or business address services must:

  • Complete and submit USPS Form 1583 and two valid forms of identification before service begins.

  • Keep account information current.

  • Pay all fees on time as agreed.

  • Use the Lux & Co address for lawful business activities only.

Mail and packages are accepted during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM).
Mail not claimed within 30 days may be returned to sender or securely discarded.

We are not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged mail once it leaves our possession.

3. Registered Agent Services

When you designate The Offices at Lux & Co as your registered agent, you authorize us to receive official government and legal correspondence on your behalf.

You agree to:

  • Maintain up-to-date contact information.

  • Respond promptly to forwarded documents or notices.

  • Keep your account in good standing.

Failure to pay or maintain your service may result in the withdrawal of our appointment with the Virginia State Corporation Commission.

The Offices at Lux & Co is not responsible for missed deadlines or penalties caused by your failure to update contact information or retrieve forwarded notices.

4. Notary Signing Services

All notary and signing services comply with Virginia law. Valid government-issued identification is required at each appointment.

We reserve the right to refuse notarization if identification is invalid or if the notary believes the signer does not understand the document or is under duress.

5. Conference Room Rentals

Conference rooms are available by reservation only and may require prepayment or deposit.

Clients agree to:

  • Use the space for professional purposes.

  • Respect the property and other tenants.

  • Leave the room in clean condition.

We reserve the right to charge a cleaning or damage fee if the room is left in poor condition.

6. Payments & Fees

All service fees are due as outlined in your selected plan.

  • Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month.

  • A $10 late fee applies to Mailbox, Registered Agent, and Virtual Office clients if payment is not received within 5 days of the due date.

  • A $25 late fee applies to Private Office and Dedicated Desk members if rent is received after the 5th of the month.

  • A $25 one-time setup fee applies to new mailbox accounts.

  • Additional fees may apply for add-ons, mail forwarding postage, replacement keys, or meeting room rentals.

 

Services may be suspended or terminated for non-payment, declined payments, or repeated late payments.

 

Returned Payment Policy

If a payment is returned, declined, or reversed for any reason (including insufficient funds or incorrect account information):

  • A $35 returned payment fee will be added to your account.

  • Payment must be corrected immediately upon notification.

  • Repeated returned or failed payments may result in suspension or termination of services.

  • Clients with multiple returned payments may be required to pay future fees using certified funds or credit card only.

 

7. Cancellations & Terminations

Clients may cancel services with 30 days’ written notice.
Refunds are not issued for partial months or unused time.

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately for non-payment, misuse, or unlawful activity.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Offices at Lux & Co and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services — including lost mail, data, or profits.

 

9. Privacy

 

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

 

10. Changes to These Terms

 

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
